How would you know if the words that you spoke Held meaning to the ones that you love most What would it show as you'd try, though you'd choke To bare the truth to those that you hold close Would you put it all at stake Trying hard to fake what you can't make Would you throw caution to the wind I've seen you standing in the rain It hides the tears you're crying But it leaves you with the pain Don't let it steal your light Don't let it steal your right to feel sane And don't forget that It'll kill you all the same How can you fight that which you know is right And take your time getting this off your chest Deep in the night, when you turn off the lights And tell yourself you think you did your best Your time is fading fast Can you tell one day from all the rest Can you throw caution to the wind I've seen you standing in the rain It hides the tears you're crying But it leaves you with the pain Don't let it steal your light Don't let it steal your right to feel sane And don't forget that It'll kill you all the same I could throw, I can throw I will throw caution to the wind I don't wanna die, I don't wanna die I don't wanna die I've seen you standing in the rain It hides the tears you're crying But it leaves you with the pain Don't let it steal your light Don't let it steal your right to feel sane And don't forget that It'll kill you all the same It'll kill you all the same

Set sights on the feed for First time in a week or two today And all that I can say's It's lookin all the same, just a different day Same lies just different sounding Tired eyes no astounding things to see Or news I can't believe Or truths that bring me to my knees Hope it looks like I've been trying Cause although I'm inconsistent I don't want my name to fade Sometimes I only feel like crying Like it's time for me to try my hand at Playin' a different game I've been wasting away Haunted by the past and what my demons say Life keeps racing ahead Fixated and possessed by paranoia You'll miss it or what's worse: you'll wake up dead Woke up feelin hollow Too much noise to follow here Persistent ringing in my ears Manipulating my fears All I own feels so borrowed All due dates set for tomorrow Time to spin some records I know Sing away some of this sorrow Hope you'd never think I'm lying Cause as well as I turn phrases I can't take back what I said And if it looks like I've been dying I'm not finished nor prepared To take my place among the dead I've been wasting away Haunted by the past and what my demons say Life keeps racing ahead Fixated and possessed by paranoia You'll miss it or what's worse: you'll wake up dead And all the best lines that I've never used Are all the ones that I pretended I could say real smooth In a ten-year-old white Altima When I still thought I was on to somethin' hot All the arguments that they would win Although I'd never even had a single one of them Drivin' down the highway singin' when the sky was dark All the songs within my heart Well if I had the life I'd wanted then Who could know the kind of places that I would've been Off the deep end, spiraling with no control Or a box six deep under earth and stone When I faced down God and shared my plans I guess I didn't really think it would get such a laugh Funny now to turn back looking at the things I've done And the thing that I've become I've been wasting away Haunted by the past and what my demons say Life keeps racing ahead Fixated and possessed by paranoia You'll miss it or what's worse: you'll wake up dead I'm through wasting away I'm through trippin' over all the lies That all my demons love to say This life keeps racing ahead Fixated and possessed by paranoia You'll miss it or what's worse: you'll wake up dead You'll miss it or what's worse: you'll wake up

Someday 03:37
I know that this is going somewhere I know I'm playin the right cards You can't deny me of this feelin Cause you don't confuse me anymore I know that I don't have to fight it Cause I know that you don't really mind It's true that I'm a bit precautious But I know it's not a waste of time Someday you're gonna see what you're missin Someday you're gonna find out why For now I'm gonna sit here and listen Til it seems to be the proper time Someday you're gonna see what the point was Someday you'll see why I would go To Hell and back to earn your trust So just believe me when I say Someday I feel like I've been struck by lightning And I feel like it won't go away Tonight I can't fight off the burnin But I think that I'd like it to stay Someday you're gonna see what you're missin Someday you're gonna find out why For now I'm gonna sit here and listen Til it seems to be the proper time Someday you're gonna see what the point was Someday you'll see why I would go To Hell and back to earn your trust So just believe me when I say Someday This waiting couldn't last any longer This pain it couldn't get much worse I know I've gotta wait until it's time So I'll just keep my self in line and say Someday you're gonna see what you're missin Someday you're gonna find out why For now I'm gonna sit here and listen Til it seems to be the proper time Someday you're gonna see what the point was Someday you'll see why I would go To Hell and back to earn your trust So just believe me when I say Someday

Whisper 03:43
I will catch you I will break your fall I will hold you through it all Do you see me aching, dying to get in Do you hear me whisper softly Through your trials You've stayed strong I've been with you all along Do you see me aching, dying to get in Do you hear me whisper softly Do you see me aching, dying to get in Do you hear me whisper softly

Last night, you said to me I'm worried, I don't like seeing you this way I said to you that I'm sorry Then sleep pulled at me Last night, I said to you That it's not your fault I got myself here on my own When you say sorry, oh it kills me Now sleep pulls at me Last night helped me to see That you and I share something terrible and true We'd rather die than be lonely So I promise I'll take care of you If you take care of me We both know things don't always go our way I'm not perfect but I'll prove to you someday That I'm in control and that Your trust was not a waste Forgive me, I haven't changed I'd just lost my way I'm still me, but you should Know I can make mistakes Day after day I've been stuck in this game Which sometimes I feel just too broken to play Believe when I say I promise I'm here to stay Forgive me, I haven't changed I'd just lost my way I'm still me, but you should Know I can make mistakes Day after day I've been stuck in this game Which sometimes I feel just too broken to play Believe when I say I promise I'm here to stay Forgive me

You're trying a little harder each time To get a little bit higher With with every little climb But I've seen you toppling over And every moment that you're awake Gets a little bit harder With each breath you take And I've seen you hide the horror When did your heart stop beating When did depression set When will you ever get a rest Don't look back You're not chained to your past You know you're not alone Don't do this on your own No one sees you how you wanna be seen And this illusion of you is looking anything but clean Yet you seem to keep composure Nobody seems to know you How you'd like to be known But you've got to learn to let it go Don't look back You're not chained to your past You know you're not alone Don't do this on your own Drowned in your loneliness Unable to continue Just let it go, release control It's no longer within you Don't look back You're not chained to your past You know you're not alone Don't do this on your own

Younger soul don't worship The idea of growing old Don't try too hard to keep control Your dreams have not yet set in the mold Don't forget there's many things That you have not yet learned And many years you've not yet turned And wisdom that can only be earned There's so much you've yet to try And it all starts inside If you'd just open up your eyes You could reach out with your mind You'll miss out on so much life If you don't take it all in stride Take it one step at a time We all long for things beyond What we've already got Well step right up and take your shot But stay true to the course you plot Some things feel just out of reach Just past what you can grab There's nothing wrong with being grateful For what you already have Stand up for what you deserve And make your voice heard If you'd just open up your eyes You could reach out with your mind You'll miss out on so much life If you don't take it all in stride Every new direction brings Another new perspective It brings another song to sing Another new objective It brings a fresh expression To that face that's in the mirror And every new reflection makes it clearer It makes it clearer. We're going on this trip together Setting off our next adventure No one else just you and me Becoming who we're meant to be I can't imagine much more fun From rising to the setting sun We'll find before the day is done We cannot lose what we have won Take it one step at a time Take it one step at a time Take it one step at a time Take it one step at a time Open up Open up Open up Open up We're going on this trip together Setting off our next adventure No one else just you and me Becoming who we're meant to be I can't imagine much more fun From rising to the setting sun We'll find before the day is done We cannot lose what we have won Take it one step at a time Take it one step at a time Take it one step at a time Take it one step at a time Open up Open up Open up Open up

about

Simply titled "Vol II.", this album represents the merging of myself and my closet-band Windward Peaks as a singular entity under my personal name.
It's an expression not only of my musical self these last couple of years, but also of the recent strides I've taken in producing, mixing and mastering music.
I hope you enjoy the tunes, as well as the special guest appearances when they occur.
